| The Hollywood Diner: “The Hollywood Diner has had several incarnations but achieved national fame as the diner depicted in the coming-of-age movie Diner, directed by Barry Levinson, a native of Baltimore. Many people come to the Hollywood hoping to sit in the booth where Mickey Rourke argues with Kevin Bacon and Daniel Stern. The Hollywood has also made appearances in Sleepless in Seattle, Enemy of the State, Liberty Heights, Homicide and The Wire.” - Excerpt from “Hometown Diners” by Robert O. Williams |
